Fish in the Sea
All entries in the South Street Seaport short film festival must have a running time of one minute or less and feature the namesake NYC neighborhood in some way.
“Fish in the Sea” features my son singing a sea shanty and was selected as a $1K prize-winning finalist, tantalizingly close to the $60K grand prize. But that’s ok! We didn’t make it for the money, we did it for our love of the sea.
Devona is an interactive design agency that appreciates the unexpected and eccentric. So these checks are embedded with unusual (and completely compliant) security features, like a watermark and graphics only visible under a black light. A closer look reveals various easter eggs in the guilloché patterns.

Not all clients are big brands. Big Fun is a small, independent retailer of toys, games and novelties. This campaign utilized a distinctive visual identity and playful voice (BIG PUNS) to help stand out from (and eventually outlast) its big-box competition.
Concert Posters
These gig posters promoting shows at local NYC music venues had to be eye-catching both online and in print. They were designed to be silkscreened efficiently and affordably, using only two or three colors.
Duplo Superheroes
Duplo blocks are basically Legos for toddlers—big enough not to be a choking hazard. But there’s no age limit as this collaboration between my kids and me shows. Using several random Duplo sets, we built as many comic book superheroes as we could. It’s sort of like working with tactile pixels.
